Got some new PTI Stamp sets in yesterday, so just had to play with them this morning. Have been waiting for this stamp set so I could participate in my first ever Papertrey Ink blog hop! This month the challenge was to get inspired by the lazy days of summer and reflect your inspiration in a project of your choice. I absolutely LOVE fruit! I seem to eat more fruit during the summer because it is so hot outside and fruit is just so refreshing. But I don’t love just edible fruit. I love Fruit paintings, fruit stamps, the colors of fruits…. I have some form of fruit decor all around my house. (I will take pictures and post them under a separate post). I love working with bright colors, and right nows shades of green, red and yellow are my color choices. My house is pretty much comprised of those paint colors on the walls…. I chose to focus on limes because I am loving the color green now. I chose to do another timeless template, Let’s Do Lunch! I am going to stock the lunchbox with green candies, like M&m’s, lifesavers or skittles! Or I may throw a few limes in there… Hmmm…. What do you guys think?
Template: Let’s Do Lunch by Lauren Meader (sidebar)

Thanks! Give it another shot! I always consider first time templates practice rounds. They don’t count, ha ha! The one I had problems with was “Get a Handle on It” – I am going to give that one a whirl tomorrow and use the cupcake stamp set I got yesterday! Cross your fingers for me!!!!
Love your limes inspiration picture! and what a great lunch box you made – how fun!

What a fun idea. That would make a really neat gift for a hostess at a fun summer BBQ. Wonderful summer card and great eye candy.
