Polychromatic Butterfly

By Laurel on May 16, 2018May 14, 2018

Polychromatic butterflies!  I just finished the Polychromatic Class and learned so much. First of all, the definition of Polychromatic – LOL!  The definition is: of two or more colors; multicolored. I was very much drawn to the lesson that used two like colors so that’s what I’ve done today. I stamped the two images from the Wings of Hope Stamp set by scribbling on two colors of Zig Color Real Brush markers onto the stamps, spritzing with water and stamping onto BRISTOL Paper (Bristol paper works best with Zigs).

I then heat embossed two of the leaves in white and then got to playing with the two colors I used on the butterflies. I blended the colors very easily around the butterflies and then did one spritz of the whole panel so everything moved around. I took care with the butterflies by dabbing the water away immediately as I didn’t want them to loose their shape. The sentiment was heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

This two color scheme thing is pretty amazing! I’ll definitely be doing this more often!
