Plaid and Florals: 5 cards with The Stamp Market

By Laurel on January 31, 2019

When I was at Creativation, I stumbled upon The Stamp Market’s booth and just stopped in my tracks. Litereally stopped. I LOVE their style. Their booth was very eye catching. It kind of had a Kate Spade thing going on…. I can only imagine what Amy’s (the owner) house looks like because I think based on her style, her designs and her booth, I might just move right in! I was thrilled to see  that my sweet Ellen Hutson also carries The Stamp Market line (click HERE to shop)! I purchased 3 things (to start, I will definitely be adding loads more) and mixed and matched all 3 products to create 5 cards. Jumbo Blooms, Jumbo Plaid and the Big Hi Die.

The Jumbo Blooms stamp set is so much fun and very easy to use. The different images allow you to layer different to create different bloom centers and petals. I used the Jumbo Plaid on the Navy Cardbase. I inked it up with white ink and then spritzed with water before stamping. I love the green/blue combo! PS. ALL INK COLORS ARE LINKED BELOW – and are CP inks of course!

Using the same 2 stamps as I did on the first card, I created this beauty by using a portion of the plaid to divide the bottom half of the card base.

A little Yellow on Yellow with the Jumbo Plaid background and Jumbo Blooms popped up on top!

The Big Hi die is sooo fun! I actually die cut one of the stamped Jumbo Blooms with the die and layered onto a card stock stamped with Jumbo Plaid and heat embossed it in white against a very soft blue background.

And last, I stamped the Jumbo Plaid Background, die cut it with the Big Hi Die and adhered it to a piece of textured cardstock I sprayed with a soft shimmer spray.

I hope everyone has a safe and warm day. I know lots of us are experiencing extreme cold weather! Get on those fuzzy socks and stay in your pjs I say!
