I adore this Peace Out stamp set! All the florals in the image are amazeballs. I kept this card incredibly simple. I stamped the Peace Out image with Versamark, and then heat set it with white embossing powder! Then I basically drowned my cardstock in water and then lightly tapped on some of the purple color burst! If you are new to Color Burst, the key is LIGHT! These are powders with power so a little goes a long way! I used my heat gun around to move some of the puddles of color and then just walked away!!! When I came back, it looks like this. All the lines of the watercolor was just beautiful to me. If you want a more blended look, use a paper towel or cloth to dab some of the puddles away…
I thought the background needed a little something so I stamped the Full on Floral background in white pigment ink onto the black card base. I was sure it was good and dry before I sponged on some more white ink with my finger! I created a bit of a chalkboard look by doing that… If you don’t like to get your hands dirty, you can use a blending tool or a makeup sponge even! Or you could put on latex gloves. I remember having a manicure so I bought this entire box of purple latex gloves to protect my hands while crafting. I rarely do manicure (that was maybe a month long thing) because I’m lazy and don’t have the patience to maintain in, lol! Whose with me?
