When I woke up to day 2 of the card making class, I was pretty excited. One layer cards!!!!! They had some fabulous examples and a video to boot! Super fun…………. I used all Hero Arts stamps today! I kept the layout pretty similar to the designs showcased.
Now you can see here on this last card I forgot to use my little embossing tool (highly recommend, it works people) to keep the stray powder away! Won’t forget next time. But this card is still stunning in person with the shine and 3 different shades of distress inks! Bring on day 3!!! I am entering both cards in the Simon Says NEW Challenge and the YCU Clean and Simple Challenge!

Thanks for your reply Laurel. Lovely cards yet again. I am loving the Zig Zag stamp….straight to my wish list:)
They are both stunning! I tried 3x to make that first card, I just couldn’t get the flowers to work w/ what I have. I love the blues you’ve used too 🙂
So nice cards! 🙂
I like the look of this card especially the embossing and the different shades. Shall try that some time. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love the colors! And I can’t wait to get my zig zag stamp inked up too! Awesome inspiration! Thank you!
Love your color choice on both! Haven’t inked up my zig zag stamp yet – you did a beautiful job 🙂
Beautiful! You officially rocked the one layer cards! I totally love the zig zag, I may have to give that a try myself!
Gorgeous cards! ;o)
Wonderful cards! Thank you so much for joining our Young Crafters Unite challenge =)
Love them! The first one is really pretty with the cursive sentiment and the two flowers… lovely! I’m so glad you recommended me the embossing tool, it really works! thank you! 🙂
