One Layer Card using black, white and red

By Laurel on October 28, 2010

Ok, easier said than done for this challenge. Red background, with black and white on a one layer card…. Did I mention how much I love these weekly challenges? Anyway, I had made another card for this challenge but messed up with the coloring and since it was one layer, I couldn’t “cover it up” so I started over with another design in mind. I stamped all the images and then finished it off by spraying the entire card with Glimmer Mist. I love the shine! Have a great day everyone! The weekend is almost here!

Stamps: Lawn Fawn’s Frosties; PTI’s Fresh Snow ink and Pure Poppy card stock; Versafine Onyx Black

Your white shows up so well…I can never get white ink to be “visible” on a dark card..so you did great! I can’t really see the shimmer from the misting..but bet it looks great! Thanks for sharing!

Very pretty. I too have problems with white, but newly tried Stampin’ Up white craft ink and embossing powder. That combo works great even on black card stock..

Me too, I loves the snowflakes! Well, stamped ones. Real ones not so much.

    Great job on the challenge!
