Seriously people, as I was heading out the door today, I checked my mailbox and my new Lawnfawn stamps had arrived. The moment I got home, I went straight to my craft table (AKA Dining Room Table, ha ha) and had to create something!
Using Critters in the sea and Harold’s Alphabet, I came up with this card. I used Tim Holtz distress ink (broken china) and sponged it all over my card to give it the underwater effect. I wanted to use as many images from the set as I could for this card. Hope it isn’t overkill. And I can NOT say enough good things about the alphabet set. First all, having several of the SAME letter makes it so much easier.
And she also designed the set so all the letters nest into each other, making it much easier to line up.
I had scored a frame, but it doesn’t photograph well. Thanks 2sketches4you for the sketch inspiration. And thanks to the Etsy Inspired Challenge for the help with my color scheme.
I used this picture as my color inspiration. When I saw the mosaic buttons, I instantly thought of ocean colors. Happy Saturday everyone!
