*New* The Sky’s The Limit – Color Cue

By Laurel on May 18, 2010

It’s been a while since I’ve made a card and I have been thinking a lot about hot air balloons lately so I had to break out Practicing Creativity’s Look Up stamp set… This time, I tried to make the balloons 3 dimensional. I stamped each balloon three times on various patterned papers and created what I hope it a 3d balloon! The big balloon was made with October Sky patterned paper. Isn’t it cute? The smaller one is from PTI.  At Jennifer McGuire’s recommendation, I bought the Sizzix embossing folder, Summer Set. I love it, and like she said, NO TRIMMING.

I was inspired by WPlus9 Designs Color Cue Challenge. Check back again soon because I am going to be using the same colors and Funky Foliage on my next card… The sketch layout was inspired by CardPatterns Sketch Challenge.

Thanks for popping by! I hope everyone’s week is off to a good start!
