*New* Sketch/Color Challenge using Lawnfawn stamps

By Laurel on May 23, 2010

Happy Sunday everyone. This morning was off to a rocky start…. Let’s just say I went out into my garage and let out a loud scream!!!

Anyway!  I broke out my Lawnfawn stamps, Sew Lovely and Just My Type, for this card. I border punched a white strip of cardt stock and then ink distressed it with Tim Holtz distress inks and some water. I like how it turned out. I paper pieced the spool and scissors. I colored the sewing machine with Copics. This is the first time I used the needle from this set. So cute. Oh I wish threading a needle was just as easy. Thank you to CPS and Color Throwdown for the sketch and color inspirations…
