Happy Friday everyone! Today was the last day of Dr. Suess week at my son’s preschool! More specifically, Green Eggs and Ham Day! I was tasked with making the eggs for all for all of the class parties! Fun fun fun. Of course, my son didn’t touch anything on his plate other than the donuts. I am sharing a few pictures from this week at the end of this post….
The card…. I started by using my scor-pal and creating that wonderful diamond background. Gina K of Stamp TV did a tutorial on this not long ago and I thought it would be perfect for this card. I used the super fun set (yes, again, I can’t help it) Funky Foliage by WPlus9 for this card…. I heat embossed the circle image. It really makes the image pop! I adhered that layer with a pop dot. I stamped the other two images directly onto the textured yellow card stock. I used the Hero Arts Friend Definitions Cling Stamp for the text. Have you tried their cling stamps? They are fabulous! Still working on my border edge punch technique, as you can tell! I am coming along, slowly but surely! Thank you Taylored Expressions for the sketch inspiration!
And from this week’s festivities….
He prayed for his food, drank the green milk, ate the donuts but didn’t touch the green eggs and ham! Little stinker. And aren’t those shirts adorable? I made them! My friend made one for her daughter and I thought I would give it a whirl us and I think they turned out fabulous!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!
Such a cutie card! And looks like you guys had a great time at the party! Loved your shirts! 🙂
