**New on the blog** Color Throwndown/Cardboard Tearing Technique

By Laurel on February 25, 2010

Before I can even begin, I have to thank Tiffany Johnson (sidebar) for doing a special request for me. She did this AMAZING CARD and I BEGGED her to do a video tutorial for me. And she did!!!!  I LOVE everything about her card… Isn’t it the cutest? I love, love, love it….

Using her as inspiration and Color Throwdown for my color palette, I was able to create this card… I love the torn cardboard distressed look! I used my first ever Hero Arts Cling Stamp for the polka dot background. I think I am in love! I will be on their website tomorrow looking for more stamps! And you know what is super cool? The cardboard came in the package with the Hero Art Stamps!! It was just fate that I try and make this card!!!   I cut up a cotton ball to make the marsh mellows. MMM. I am thirsty now. Craving me some hot cocoa…..
