Happy Monday everyone! I got back from my impromptu trip to Orlando a few hours ago. Had a great time and driving to Orlando from my house really isn’t all that bad. I listened to some good tunes and got lost in thought, which is something I hardly ever have the time to do. Jugs had a great color challenge this week. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to attempt the ink distressing with water technique once more. The project where I previously did this technique found itself in the garbage because the card was just to ugly to share with you all, let alone give to someone! I really love the look of water distressing different ink colors. This one used the coral and brown color required for the challenge. I also created a couple of flowers using my scallop circle punch and sealed it with a coral button. And lastly, to tie the color scheme together, I used a raspberry button and raspberry ink for the sentiment. I am also not one to use my border punches correctly. I ALWAYS mess up. BUT, the daredevil that I am (ha!!) decided to border punch the bottom of the card. What do you think? Like it? Not like it?
Oh yea! Do you see the watermark? I made it on Photoshop Elements! Thanks to Karen Giron’s post, I also ordered it as a stamp! Can’t wait to see what it looks like in rubber stamp form!
Thanks for stopping by! I think I am have fully recovered from my last giveaway failure, no offense to Paulina who against all odds won! Guess it didn’t hurt that only 2 people commented on my post, LOL! I have come across quite a few stamp sets that need a new home, so I am going to do a giveaway. Be sure to check back with me.
