New line of Washi Tape

By Laurel on March 5, 2019March 4, 2019

The Ton is celebrating their first washi tape release with two new washi tapes! There are some free gifts with purchase promotions ongoing. Head over to The Ton Stamps’ blog for more details.  You should have arrived from Vera Yates!

I am using both washi tape designs and these were created from Effie’s own watercolor designs. My first project? Bookmarks! Corner bookmarks to be exact. Toe create these bookmarks, I cut two ends of an envelope (so it would be a pocket) and then wrapped the washi tape around the corner!  So easy to do. You can create any size you want!
My next project is a striking, yet simple layout. I applied a strip of the Peonies washi tape on some white cardstock and then die cut the letters using the Bold General Greetings dies. Added some Tonic Crystal Glaze over the top and adhered it to a card base I had heat embossed with The Ton’s Plaid background stamp! It’s a soft, subtle background.

Next up on the hop is Tae Eun Yoo!

GIVEAWAYS: Win one of The Ton’s new washi tapes! To enter, leave a comment on each blog. Effie will choose three winners and announce the winners on The Ton’s blog by March 9. The comment period for this giveaway will close on March 8 at 7pm EST.

That bookmark is awesome. I want to make some. It’s so simple. I like the crystal glaze on the letters, it probably looks way better in person, it’s great.

Love the corner bookmarks. Also love how you used the washi to cut out your sentiment. This washi is the most versatile of any new release I have seen. Thank you for sharing your talents.
