Oh my cuteness! I received my Lawnfawn stamps today and they are just cuter in person if you can even imagine. I didn’t have a lot of time tonight but I wanted to try and use at least a few of the stamps before going to bed….. I was able to create this clean and simple card. I used Just my Type and Just My Type, Too for this card. I was inspired by Color Throwdowns Color Challenge for the week. I used PTI Spring Rain, Spring Moss and Hibiscus Burst. I didn’t have Hibiscus Burst ribbon so I had to fall back to coloring white ribbon with matching COPICS again. Hey, don’t laugh. It works when you are in a bind!
There are so many sentiments in Just My Type, TOO. Y ou really can mix and match and come up with tons of fun sayings! The thumb tack is adhered with a pop dot and I glued the end of the tack onto the message paper. It really does look like that message is tacked to the card in person.
Confession! I totally forgot to use my edge punch on the spring moss layer! I had it sitting right in front of me! I just got in the mail and wanted so much to use it on this card but by the time I remembered, it was too late! Wah. Has that ever happened to you? I think if I had used it, this card would have turned out so much better. Oh well. Pish Posh! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!!!
