Mosaic Hydrangea

Hello! Today I am playing along with the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge!  We are mixing it up with Honey Bee Stamps! I used the 1.5″ Art Squares by Inchie to create this Mosaic styled card. The Art Squares are made to withstand watercolor and other art mediums all while giving you that pop of dimension. How I create this card was I temporarily adhered the squares nestled right up next to each other and then stamped the Mondo Hydrangea floral image with Versamark ink. I used some Silver Pearl embossing powder and heat set and I LOVE the metallic white (its not silver ironically, lol).

I adhered some White Linen cardstock to a Neenah Desert Storm card base. I sprinkled on some Alizarin Crimson Color Burst to the art squares and spritzed with water to blend… It held the water with no problems!  I added a bit of Cracked Pistachio and Gathered Twigs distress ink to the White Linen cardstock before adhered the art squares. NOTE:  Number your art squares on the back… I had to do this twice because I didn’t number my art squares the first time and I found it impossible to piece back together the floral image believe it or not, lol.
