Hello there blog world! This is my first time participating in the Mojo Monday challenges! I had fun with this one, but at the same time wanted to keep it simple because this is my first time participating in any kind of sketch challenge and I am a super weenie. So, here is the sketch:
And here is my interpretation of the sketch:
Yes, I swapped the circle and the square around, but other than that, I kept true to form… I dry embossed the brown CS using the Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder.
I dreadfully tied the ribbon to the best of my ability (I just seriously need take to a How to tie a ribbon 101 class), used one of my favorite stamps sets of all time for the sentiment and used a pop dot for the cute little pillow cutouts (PTI bitty dots paper in case you can’t see the detail) on the couch! I made this card for my friend Tracy, who just LOVES her couch, especially on Sundays.
Sorry Trace is you read this post before you actually receivedthe card, but pretend to act shocked when it reaches you by snail mail.
Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink On My Couch and On My Couch Additions Ink: Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate Other: Cuttlebug, Argyle Embossing Folder, Marvy Punches, Bitty Dots Paper from Papertrey Ink (pillows), cardstock
Cute dry embossin and I really wish I had this couch beauty! Way to rock this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.
It’s a good life!
