Mixed Media for Cardmakers

By Laurel on April 7, 2018

StampNation has a class going on right now called “Eat, Sleep, Create” and its all about incorporating mixed media techniques into cardmaking. There are several different lessons with three instructors in total.  To learn more about the class, click HERE. I am not a mixed media/art journaling/hand lettering type person… So I took a few techniques that one of the instructors shared when creating an art journaling page and popped them into a card! 🙂

The technique was so simple. Apply paint to your page with a wet wipe! Done and done, lol!!!  I like the textured look it left behind by applying the paint with the wet wipe. I used whatever paint I had on hand (as I said, I don’t have a lot of mixed media products). To finish off the card, I simply die cut the panel with this Bold Greeting Word and lined it with the awesome Black Tie Gala paper.
