Hi there! Happy Monday and welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge! Today’s challenge is all about sentiments, so I thought it would be fun to heat emboss various chat bubbles from the Chit Chat stamp set in different colors.. After stamping the speech bubbles in Versamark ink, I used Zing Embossing powders (all the colors used are linked below in the supply list). I decided to contain all the bubbles inside a circle so I used one of the Circle Stackable dies on masking paper and ran it thru my die cutting machine. I used the negative space and adhered it down to my card front and did all my embossing and inking inside that circle! If you don’t have that masking paper, you can use some thin paper like copy/typing paper or even a large post it note.
I stamped out the circle letters from Owen’s ABCS and used the coordinating dies to cut them out, popped them up on a sentiment strip and applied a ton of Glossy Accents over the top (you can see I am impatient when I took the photo as it still hasn’t all dried, lol). As a final touch, I flicked on some black texture spray (I love this stuff as you can tell as I use it everywhere, he he he).. I used a hot pink card base.. I thought that pop of pink when you open it up would be fun!!! I don’t know why I don’t use more colored cardstock. I have a ton of it, sigh!
