MAHALO!!!! Today I’m over on The Crafters Workshop blog sharing this card! The MINI TROPICAL ELEMENTS STENCIL and has several images to choose from. I wanted to work with the pineapple today! This card is one that would be great to mass produce (just use inks instead of a combination of inks and distress paint to speed up the process and simplify). I secured my stencil down to some watercolored cardstock and inked the pineapple with two colors of distress paint (Mowed Lawn and Gathered Twigs). After the paint dried, I applied some distress inks (Forest Moss and Fossilized Amber). I die cut the panel with the MFT Inside & Out rectangle die and then flicked on some watered down black distress ink and black textured spray.
The sentiment is from my handheld Dymo Label Maker (10 bucks people)…. I just make sure to use the white on black tape refills. See? Super simple card! I never fail with simple cards do I…. It’s just what I like to do! The more complex the card, the more anxiety I start to feel at the craft table! Sometimes, I stretch myself and do other things, but those are on special occasions and when I’ve had a large intake of caffeine, lol!
That’s it for today! MAHALO peeps!!!!!
