LOVE YA tag

Why oh why did I take a stab at making a tag I will never know… I have never made a tag before I don’t think….. I used my sizzix embossing folder and dry embossed the tag. I don’t have a flower die cut (GASP – Hey, I am happy to help if anyone has any unwanted flower dies or punches you want to get rid of, lol), so I used a scalloped circle punch and punched pages from an old bunk and sponged them with PTI ink….

I wet them and crumpled them all up and let them dry, secured them with a button and this is what I came up with my flower… What do you think? Does it pass for a flower?

Now, if you know me at all, you know I can NOT tie bows! I just can’t. Tried and tried and tried. Complete and utter failure!  Lucky I can tie my shoe laces!!!

So, I thought this was a good way to incorporate some ribbon that did not force me to tie a bow! Thanks to Everything by the Kitchen Sink challenge this week for the inspiration.
