Life is Short. Eat Macarons

By Laurel on January 30, 2018

I admit, I have never had a Macaron. I know, isn’t that nuts? But I sure do like the look of them!  I used this stamp set to create this scrumptious card! I used Catherine Pooler inks and used some water with them to create the watercolored look… I added some white gel pen to the center to make it look more frosting like.

This was just one of those cards that was relaxing to do. Ipad off the side, stamping, watercoloring…. Not to perfect. Nothing aligned exactly. Just fun….

    Hi Laurel,

You really should try some macaroons, but only the ones from France. When we were in Paris these are everywhere but they are so, so nice. Did you look them up on the internet because they do not really have white frosting but have a coloured soft fondant middle which is the same colour as the actual macaroon. Great card though, did not know that there was a stamp out there of macaroons – The Ton is fab for doing one. :O)

I’m the same, never try a macaroon in my life but they look good I must say. Your design is truly perfection and I love this stunning design and that stamp set it’s gorgeous. Hugs x
