Hey everyone!! Welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge!!! Today’s challenge is fun and for MOST of you, appropriate! WINTER WONDERLAND! I, however, live in Florida where it has been 80 degrees all week, sigh. I like the cold. I’m not talking snow tires, ice scrapping type cold, but cold!!! I hope it cools off soon. It IS January after all, and my maternity wardrobe is mainly comprised on winter clothes so come on Mother Nature, work with me here, he he he!!! Here’s a look at what I created:
For some reason, I just KNEW I wanted to use the gnome for this winter card so I thought, hey, let’s let him ride his little polar bear friend!!!! I used this gorgeous paint dabber for the background so it sparkles IRL… The images were all watercolored with Inktense pencils (LOVE THEM). I purposely kept some pencil strokes on the tree for some added texture and I kina like it, I’ll admit it! Here’s another close up!
Of course, I had to add some stickles in there….. I love how it looks like snow on the snowbanks and the tree….
We are sponsored by the fabulous Lawn Fawn!!!!! The winner will receive a stamp set of their choice!!! 🙂 SO FUN! I do hope you will play along with us. You’ve got 10 days to get crafty!!! No excuses!
And here’s a look at the challenge badge!!! How cute!! I love what our ladies come up with for the badges! So creative. If you didn’t know, Jen and Chrissie do the badges for us…. They are awesome…..
