Happy Monday everyone! It’s time for another Lawnscaping Challenge!!! This week’s challenge is all about THANKS!!!! I decided to make a thank you card for a very special person in my life that is moving away.
Our sponsor for this challenge is the fabulous Simon Says Stamp (Click on their picture to my left)!!!! They are offering up a $25 gift certificate to the winner! 🙂 I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get my hands on that! I always have a cart going……. Here is what I created… I decided to do something a little different and used metallics on this card, something I have never done before.
I created the background by heat embossing the hearts in white and coloring them with two shades of Gelatos…. I hand stiched (GASP, something I never do) around the heart for some added texture! Colored my little critters with Copics! Added some enamel to the eyes. I didn’t have black card stock so I used Black Soot distress ink to create my own. Here’s another close up:
I’ve got my supply list listed below! If you have any questions, please let me know!!!! I’m also entering this card into the Lily Pads Texture Challenge!!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!!! Be sure to head on over to the Lawnscaping Blog for the deets on the project and to see the amazing design team’s creations! We’ve also got Jennifer Mcguire Guest Designing with us this month!!!! Also, don’t forget about my giveaway that ends this week!!!
