Howdy ho everyone! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Today I am here with a new Lawnscaping Challenge! Sparkle and Shine! There are many ways to add sparkle and shine. Glitter, Heat Embossing, Perfect Pearls, Glossy Accents… See what I mean????? I pulled out some new and old Lawn Fawn products to create this:
The background was created with the popular Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blended them with a Perfect Pearls mixture (shine). I never thought to blend them with water until I saw Catherine Pooler do it, lol!!! I used Fintastic Friends stamp set and dies and colored those images with the Zig Clean Color markers too!
It sure is hard to capture shine in pictures, let me tell ya! You can see some of it on the background here!!! I also heat embossed the sentiment with some sparkle embossing powder (shine #2). And then I added a coat of Wink of Stella Glitter in clear over the fishies (shine #3)…. Oh, All the images were heat embossed in black before watercoloring (shine #4). So while it’s hard to see, this card is very sparkly! I didn’t have any “wave dies” so I used one of the dies from the Stitched Hillside die set (comes with 4 dies) and die cut them onto my favorite heavy duty vellum to create my “waves”….
I did say video, didn’t I! You can watch the video in HD by CLICKING RIGHT HERE!
