Lawnscaping Challenge: Polka Dots sponsored by MoldMuse PLUS GIVEAWAY

By Laurel on May 16, 2011

Happy Monday! It’s the second Monday of the month which means, Lawnscaping Challenge time! We’ve got a great challenge, great sponsor and great prizes in store for you so let’s get to it!!!!

FUN FUN! Your challenge this week is to use polka dots in your project! Polka dots just make me smile! I love them…. And we have a fabulous sponsor this week! MoldMuse! You may remember me talking them about them here and here! And I just made a card using more of them here. AND Kelly Marie has made some cards and videos using the molds as well.  Visit her blog and search “Mold Muse” and you will see all the fun projects and videos she has made. Well, MoldMuse is offering up a $25 gift certificate to the winner! That is $25 in products. She will cover the cost of shipping….. WOOT! AND, we are also offering up a future guest designer spot to the winner, so be sure to head over to the Lawnscaping site and check out all the deets on the challenge! Here is what I created:

I used this mold and this mold (flower and mushroom) and paired it with a bunch of sets from Lawn Fawn! The flower was made with resin and the mushroom was made with clay. I used a Sizzix embossing folder and some fun patterned paper for the polka dots…. Here is a close up of the molds (click to enlarge):

I am so in love with these molds. Check out all the molds I have made so far:

So, I love them so much, I want one of you to have one, so how about a giveaway. Just leave me a comment and let me know that you follow me AND Lawnscaping and one random commenter will win this (click here for more deets on the mold):

Be sure to head on over to the Lawnscaping blog to get all the deets on the challenge! You have until Wednesday, May 25th to play along! And you must see all the Design Team projects! They are fabulous! We’ve got chinese take out, bows, molds made into earrings – Seriously, head on over and check it out! Beware, you WILL be amazed.

Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Say Cheese, Critters in the Forest, Hello Friend)
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Jenni Bowlin Ink

Oh geez girl, you worry over nothing! This card is so adorable, and I love how you worked in the molds into a scene like that. I’m going to have to try that with my flower ones! I love the rolled rose as well. You should make a video sharing how to make one. 🙂
