YEA! YEA! One my most favorite challenges is back! You guys know how I love my distress inks! This week’s challenge over at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog is all about DISTRESS ADICTS. There are other ways to add distress to your project. Edge distressing for one… That’s always fun to do and everyone has a steak knife, right? Seriously, that is the best edge distressing tool there is… The serated edge of a steak knife. Anywho. I didn’t do any of that here! I just though I’d go off topic and mention it, lol!
For this card, I applied the distress ink pads direct to the card stock, flicked on some water with all too useful water flicking technique and then colored in the images from this stamp set with distress inks.
Are you surprised I made a tea themed card? I know. I am a coffee girl myself as you know… I’ve got an idea of who I am sending this one too. And she loves her some sweet tea.
Be sure to head on over to the Lawnscaping challenge and check out what the rest of the design team made. And play along, will ya???:)
