I am still in the Valentines Day mode today, so I thought I would knock out a couple of cards using the JUGS sketch challenge as inspiration. I was just introduced to a great website that has tons and tons of inspiration, including online classes! That is definitely something I need. I watched the Thinking Inking class on Distressing Inks this morning and thought I would give it a whirl. Now on this card, it is hard to see the distressed ink. My other card (which I will reluctantly post later because the distressed inking really stands out but the card itself is poo) really shows off the distressed ink using water! I took a close up it on this card in hopes you will be able to see it… It is really quite easy and I had all the supplies in stock (I don’t know why, I have never used Tim Holtz distressed inks before and don’t remember buying them, but me and my shopping sprees really to get the best of me, don’t they)…. I used that cute Argyle Print digi paper I linked to in this post. Happy Sunday!
So sweet Laurel!! I love the buttons, and fun Valentine’s theme!!
Thanks so much (as always) for taking the time to play along with Just Us Girls!!!
Ah Laurel this is so sweet. I can see the distressing ink – it’s subtle but it’s supposed to be 🙂 Thanks so much for supporting Just Us Girls and for playing along with our challenge. Hope to see you again next week.
