Inlaid Diecutting with CAS-ual Fridays with GIVEAWAY

I’m using two new products from the release for this project:  Tag Ornament Fri-Dies and Holly Jolly Borders. To create this card, I stamped one of the borders from the Holly Jolly Border stamp set with Versamark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. I then applied a wash of watercolor over the entire card panel. I started with more paint on my brush to achieve a darker color and then began to water down my brush to blend to a lighter color. Once that was completed, I made sure it was dry and then added some pink watercolor to accentuate all the letters. I used the MissionGold watercolors.

Once the watercolored panel was dry, I die cut the tag shape using the Tag Ornament Fri-Dies. I adhered the center of the circle down flat and popped up the outline of the circle with foam dimension to create the inlaid diecut. Added a touch of twine and voila.
