Hi there! Yesterday’s post was chalk full of information. I was part of a two day blog hop and shared 5 cards and a video introducing the Foundations Box to you and simple one layer card from start to finish. THE FOUNDATIONS BOX IS ON SALE RIGHT NOW!!!!!! Click HERE to purchase, while supplies last!
I had a request from one of my readers to show you how I created the “ink swiping” card….. No problem! Done and Done! You can watch the video right here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking here!
Ink swiping is fun and easy and with these ink pads? The results are fabulous! I’ve had a blast making one layered cards this week. It’s been a long time!
Thanks so much for joining me the last two days! I enjoyed sharing projects that can be made just from the contents of the Foundations Box! This box retails for $67 and includes everything every new stamper needs to create custom handmade cards!!!! The products in this box are also staple products for every stampers’ craft room! A quick recap of what’s inside:
- 5 dye ink pads (Grass Skirt, Rockin’ Red, Fiesta Blue, Orange Twist, and Midnight) – These ink pads are very juicy! Midnight (black) is permanent and works well with Alcohol markers such as: Copics, Spectrum Noir, etc).
- 3 clear stamp sets (For Everything, Spot On, Amazing Floral)
- Round acrylic block
- (30) Pre-cut/Pre-scored card stock
I hope you all have an amazing day! I’ll be back tomorrow with TWO Posts! Two cards for the Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights Challenge (and another video) and a project the Calling all Sistah’s Blog Hop. See you then!!!!!
How clever! Love the colors you chose!
Such an easy technique to learn!! Thanks for sharing it! I love this card!!!! TFS!
Love the cards. Love the added pink in the second card. And seriously, the happy accident of having to mask just gives us all ideas as to how to stretch that stamp to control how thick we want that border. Thanks for the video tutorial.
I am in total awe with how beautifully these ink swipes came out on your cards, Laurel!!! Can’t wait to try this…I think it’s my favourite so far! Hugs, my friend!
Thank you so much, Laurel, for showing the ink swipes and splatters. It looks so easy when you do it. Plan to give it a try when my box arrives
Very nice card. I like your ink swiping.
Love this cool technique! Very pretty!
Such a simple technique with beautiful results. I will use this when I need a quick card.
