HELLO there peeps! I have a very different style card to share with you today. The moment I saw this post/video by Dawn of Wplus9, I was so inspired! I just had to create something similar! She is an amazing artist. I am blown away by her talent. I followed her technique to a t, and just used different colors! I didn’t want to be a complete copy cat! LOL. I first created the background by using my watercolors. I use the Kuretake Gansai watercolors (I have the 24 pack). I used the new Lucky Stars stamp set with some white embossing powder! SO PRETTY! The sentiment? I did some double heat embossing. I first stamped the sentiment in Versamark and then heat set it with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Then I did the same thing again, stamped it slightly offset and then heat set with Black Glitter embossing powder.
Different for me, but I LOVE IT!!! I am so into watercoloring these days! I have all the supplies linked below to multiple sources. I am in the process of moving my blog to a hosted site, so everything will look a whole lot cleaner soon (and without all that blasted text). Hopefully another week or two! Stay tuned for that because I am excited! Then I can use more of the amazing Inlinkz features!
All supplies are listed below from multiple sources…. (EH =Ellen Hutson, BM =BlueMoon Scrapbooking, SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ =Amazon).
