Happy Halloween

By Laurel on October 30, 2010

Well, I wanted to make one more Halloween card before it was to late and OTWC was having a Halloween challenge. I stand behind what I intended to title my post – “I must have been drunk when I made this card – Happy Halloween” but figured it might offend some. The way I see it,  if you can’t poke fun of yourself, then you don’t have a sense of humor! I thought I would be all slick making a stripped pattern out of two shades of Copic markers. I think that would have been all fine and dandy if I had left the stripes in the background and put ALL the images over the top, but oh well. I used Jennifer McGuire’s Thinking Inking technique and applied two shades of distress inks on an acrylic block, spritzed with water and then stamped the image. The images are from Lawn Fawn.  Have a great Saturday. Off to a family reunion. I won’t be taking them this card. LOL!!!

I think I am missing where adult beverages might have played a hand to your disliking because it looks fine to me! Thanks for joining in the fun and playing along with us at OTWC and Good luck! 🙂 Aloha!
