Hi-ya using heat embossing, copics and distress inks

By Laurel on November 25, 2010

Hiya! Isn’t she the cutest little girl ever? I have enjoyed my newest Hero Arts purchase, Sweet Wonderful You. The little girls are so cute and super fun to color! A great way for me to practice too! I started by heat embossing the wonderful houndstooth image in clear embossing ink and heat set it. I then applied a generous amount of Tim Holtz distress ink. I absolutely LOVE the look of heat embossed images! A heat embossed background really snazzes up the look of the card…. I hope you like her…  She looks so sweet and innocent, doesn’t she? Just like me when I was younger before I did something to get me in trouble… HA!

Wee Memories latest challenge was to add a little pink to your project. I don’t typically work with pink often, so I had fun with it!!

Stamps: Hero Arts Houndstooth Background k5175, Sweet Wonderful You CL 381, Papertrey Ink Handwritten Messages; Tim Holtz Distress Ink (worn lipstick, tea dye); Copics; clear embossing powder; heat embosser; Versafine Vintage Sepia Ink; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Neenah Solar White Card Stock
