It’s Friday. That is 5 days of being housebound.
It started Monday when my son spiked a high temperature only to be diagnosed with the flu. I caught it early so luckily, that was the only symptom…
No chills or aches. I pumped myself up with all kinds of meds hoping to wean off the flu because I stupidly did NOT get the flu shot. It turned into a pretty bad cold so we have been home, in PJ’s every day this week. Despicable Me, The Princess and the Frog, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Alvin and Chipmunks, Peter Pan, The Polar Express….
Oh how many more kids movies can I take!!!!
I played along in the Wee Memories Challenge again and the CardPatterns Sketch challenge….
Today’s card features Lawn Fawn’s My Silly Valentine and Teeny Tiny Backdrops..
You can’t tell, but I embossed the hearts with Embossing Puffs by Ranger. It puffs up the images and it sooo cute in person! Karen used it on one of her cards and I just had to have it. I am going to send this card off to Winter for the Cards for St. Jude Drive. Thanks for stopping by. I think I am going to try and sneak a nap in.
So sorry to hear that you guys have been sick! NO FUN AT ALL! I hope for a quick recovery! :> Such a cute card, maybe try taking the picture on the angle to show the definition! :>
Well, I certainly hope everyone gets to feeling better shortly! I really love your use of the puffy embossing powder, and so glad you were able to find some!
Such a cute Valentine’s Day card Laurel!
