Today has been a challenging day, not only with my 4 year old, but also with my crafting. I needed to decompress so I made three cards. Three cards I should not post to my blog. Three cards that should probably should be introduced to the garbage……
This one is the best of the bunch. I started with stamping Practicing Creativity’s For the Love of Dots to my background in Versamark to my Spring Rain cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I don’t know why, but for some reason, I never get a great heat embossed image…
I must be doing something wrong!!
LOL
I just got my new Spellbinders Nestabilities Label Eight die and I love it!!!! I used matching Spring Rain ink and sponged the center of the die cut, leaving the outline white, like I did in this card inspired by Gina K’s. I just loved the framed look. I found some fun October Afternoon patterned paper and paper pieced the whale image from Lawnfawn’s Critter by the Sea. I took the bubbles and filled them with Glossy Accents and adhered the label with pop dots.
I was inspired by the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, but took some creative liberty! I flipped my card sideways and used the bubbles as the two square images…. Hope that’s ok!!!!
Your card is wonderful! You’re way too hard on yourself!
Hey girl, so cute. Embossing is a pain without an embossing buddy… do you have one?
And thanks so much for your sweet twitter comment!
