Hi there! I’m full! Full, Full, Full! From 2 days ago! And you know what I filled up on mostly? Not turkeys! Desserts, lol! I have a huge sweet tooth! Me and the hubs had a turkey off. He cooked his turkey in his oilless fryer and I cooked mine in the Big Green Egg! We took a poll to see whose was best and you know who won? My Dad! Who made the ham on his Big Green Egg, lol! We are ham people, not turkey! But for the sake of tradition, we had to make turkey! Both turkeys were delicious, juicy and moist, but we are ham people, what can we say? So it seems we all won this year! Next year, we will have a HAM off so we can get a more accurate results because the ham wasn’t even in the running, lol!
Today I am bringing you this card featuring products from the Essentials by Ellen release..(All supplies are linked at the end of this post)… I am so in love with this release and can’t put it down! I sure hope the intend on carrying on this line with lots and lots and lots of more releases… This card features the Cozy Christmas stamp set! (It also has some dies that coordinate with it, Home and Hearth). I wanted to make a video for this card, and I promise you that I will, but I just had to share it today! I made it a while ago and it has been taunting me on the desktop screen of my computer, ha ha ha! But I promise, I’ll get it filmed and share it with you! Maybe I’ll just change up the sky to a dark blue/purple..
Hmm… Anywho, back to THIS card!!! I love the little houses in the set! They are stunning! I heat embossed them onto a distress inked panel and then added some of this super chunky glitter by Wow to create the grassy hilltop. (I got the embossing powder off of Blitsy! If you are not familiar with Blitsy, you must subscribe. They have daily deals and once they are gone, they are gone! But their deals? 50-75% cheaper than retail… A little birdie told me these glitters will be back at Blitsy at some point… Until then, here is the link I did to a general search on google shopping for available stock now.
The embossed houses are simply stunning! I framed the scene in using the Stitched Rectangle Dies by Lawn Fawn. My go to black ink is the Onyx black pigment ink. Because it’s pigment, it stays wet longer, allowing me to do some quick heat embossing! And I love the sentiment and font… It’s so fun and quirky, just my style!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll be back Monday for another Lawnscaping Challenge so I hope to see you then!

Ooh I love this card. The stamp and sentiment go together so perfectly. I’m especially crazy about the chunky glitter on the hill. Great job!
