So I really want to keep practicing with Copics so I pulled out my new Lawn Fawn stamp set, Harvest Season. What a perfect set to practice coloring with. I am meeting the fabulous Latisha Yoast for the first time tomorrow and she is kind enough to show me some tricks since she is Copic Certified.
I played along with the Wee Memories challenge this week, which was to incorporate any two of the tree: scallops, orange and string (SOS). I chose to use orange and scallops. I spent most of my time coloring the cornucopia image so I kept the rest of the card pretty simple. I found some patterned paper in my stash and just darkened it by using a couple of Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I stamped the leaf image directly onto the ribbon using Versafine ink! I find that ink works best for stamping on ribbon. Actually I love that ink all together except for when using Copics, it smears. So, what do you think? Would love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by.
