I really wanted to participate in the Embellish Challenge and the 2s4Y challenge this week. Embellish had this amazing background stamping color scheme and I love the decorative edge sketch on the 2s4y!
I decided to make this a Halloween card.
I love using non traditional colors for holiday themed cards. The spider webs are heat embossed and then I sponged over the surface using a gray ink. I adhered the cute bats with pop dots for added dimension. I colored the bats and spider with copics and then sponged around the edges of the black card base with white ink.
The ric rac ribbon is from StampbyStamp, my new favorite online stamping supply store. Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps: Lawnfawn Heebie Jeebies; Ink: PTI white snow, smokey shadown, Momento Tuxedo Black; ric-rac ribbon; Copics; Spellbinder Nestabilities
