Hi everyone! This month, I have the honor of guesting over at A Blog Named Hero! I adore the challenge site and the ladies that run it and serve on the design team! 🙂 The challenge is to incorporate a die cut and/or punch into your project! I love die cuts and punches so I was excited about this. Here is what I came up with:
This card is a little out of my comfort zone, but I hope you like it! I heat embossed the Hero Arts Flower Table Cloth background and heat set it with clear embossing powder. Then I squirted various colors of Mister Huey’s onto my craft sheet and colored in the non-embossed spaces with the mist! I die cut the banner strip from Simon Says Stamp and smeared it around in the left over Mister Huey’s and got that super cool background! Finished it off with some corner rounding and done!
I hope you like it. Different from my normal style, but sometimes it is nice to go outside our comfort zone and do something different and unexpected!!! Head on over to the A Blog Named Hero Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the design team made and play along! It will be fun.

Fun! Love the background and banner 🙂
