Die Cutting Distress Inks Water Coloring

Gift Tags three ways

Today I have 3 gift tags to share with you all. It’s release week over at CAS-ual Fridays and I’m here with day 3 of introductions to the new line. Be sure to check out my previous two posts as well!  Today I will be featuring the new Frankly’isms stamp set that coordinates with the previously released  Tag Buddies Dies.  All new sets will be available for purchase TOMORROW!

All three tags use different sentiments from the Frankly’isms stamp set. The first tag, I thought it would be fun to create chalkboard look! Super easy to do. Just white heat emboss the sentiment onto some black stock and then take your finger and dab some of the white ink all over the tag. DONE! How FUNNY is this sentiment. HOT FLASHES! BAHAHAHAHHAHA!

The second tag is a watercolored tag so I die cut it with watercolored card and stamped the sentiment with black pigment ink and then heat set it! I wanted to heat set it so the sentiment would still pop off the tag and not soften when adding the watercolor.  Then I and added some Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade distress ink to my craft mat, sprayed it with water and then pressed my tag into the puddles of ink.

And my last tag – another watercolored beauty. I used the Gansai Watercolors for this card, but you would also used Seedless Preserves and Cracked Pistachio distress ink for a similar look.
