Hi everyone! A very special Lawnscaping Design team member is celebrating her birthday today! So I just HAD to make Shien Shien a birthday card. I just had to. Some other Lawnscaping gals got together and made birthday cards for her as well and they can all be seen over at the Lawnscaping blog!
Here’s the card I created for her. Yes, I am nutso about Harry Potter so I had to pick up this stamp set and use it today! Seriously, how cute is this Harry Potter! Shien Shien, I hope you like it and I hope you have a wonderful birthday my friend!
The adorable images were colored with Inktense pencils. These babies are AMAZING! Just amazing. I have tossed all my other watercolor pencils and will now only use these. They are so fun…. I’ve got a video for ya. But before i get to it, here is another close up of the water coloring.
The background was created with these CAS-ual Friday stamps…. And I added some enamel to the eyes! The sentiment on the book was handwritten with my terrible handwriting!
For the video, I showed you how I colored in the images on this tag using the Inktense pencils:

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and please stop by and wish Shien Shien a happy birthday!
