Lucas and I went to my parent’s cabin in Northern Georgia this past week. The weather was cool, unlike Jacksonville.
October and still in the 80’s. Georgia is experiencing a severe drought. They have water restrictions. No watering plants and limit use of household water. Ironically enough, they still allowed the local car washes to stay open ven though some of the lakes were dried up.
Nice their priorities are in order.
Talking about allowing only one flush per day and a bath every other day, but people can go out and get their cars washed.
They finally got some rain the last few days we were there at least. Lucas had a great time. He got to visit with his cousins, which was a lot of fun for him. He still goes around the house saying EMMA! EMMA! He tries to say Lauren’s name and Matthew, well, to Lucas, he is just “baby”! Speaking of, he said his first sentence while were there. “The baby crying” – I am so proud!
