Hi everyone! I’m here today with an out of the box type card for me, literally! LOVING THIS NEW DIE from Neat and Tangled. So glad I got my hands on it because I knew it was going to sell out fast. Don’t worry. I’m sure more are on the way! I paired the box die with a sentiment from the also newly released All My Heart stamp set. Again, due to the popularity this one also sold out in record time.. But she restocks frequently. I channeled my inner Taheerah for this one because she is a gold lover and really creates fab projects! I am always inspired by here. Here is one of her latest projects using gold. Oh yea. To create this card, I die cut the die box out of some patterned paper from my stash and set it aside to work on the panel. I flicked on some watered down ink using this gold Metallic ink cube by Encore to create the splatters. I also grabbed some tissue paper and inked it up using that ink as well! I’ve also linked up some other gold ink options in the supply list below…
For the sentiment, I used some Platinum Sparkle Wow Embossing Powder! Wow embossing powders are awesome. I have a good supply of them and they always give me a good embossed image every single time… To create the card base, I just scored some lines at a diagonal using my Martha Stewart Scoring Board and then brushed some more of the gold ink here and there before adhering all the pieces together. (If you don’t have a scoring board, you can use a ruler and bone folder).
So there you have it. GOLD, GOLD and more GOLD! Funny thing is, I like platinum and silver for the most part… LOL! But GOLD? Oh yea. On cards you just can’t go wrong! 🙂
Thanks for popping in today!
