Catherine Pooler Die Cutting Heat Embossing Stencils/Masks Techniques

Fresh Picked Gold Dipped Pineapple

The Fresh Picked Release from Catherine Pooler is finally here and I’ve created a gold dipped pineapple for you today! Nom nom…..  In this release, there are 4 stencils, 2 new inks,  3 dies and 2 stamp sets….. Today I’m sharing a card using the I Pick You stamp set and coordinating die.  I’m also using the new and utterly fabulous Large Doily die.

I used a Versamark ink pad to stamp the pineapple and swipe it along the edges of the doily die cut panel, sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and heat set it  to create the gold dipped look. Almost looks good enough to eat, doesn’t it….

If you take a super close look  at the background,  you’ll see a foliage stenciled design… See it? That’s from the new Perfect Vine stencil. And yup, the new Blackjack ink. (what a fun name).

Apparently, I was in a gold and black mood today.   I love how all the designs from the stencil and die cut coordinate well with the pineapple. Ironically, I don’t eat pineapple as I don’t care for the taste but I sure love the look of them.

Oh oh! Also releasing today are a few former Stamp of Approval collections!   The Candy Cane Lane Collection (one of my favorites) and The Perfect Reason Collection (remember the peacocks)… I’ve linked to some of my favorite items from the collections below.

I have several more cards to share using goodies from the Fresh Picked release, so be sure to follow my blog! 🙂  Here is a look at all the items in the new release today! Does anything in particular catch your eye???   I love stencils so I am thrilled Catherine has jumped in on that bandwagon. 🙂

Linked below are the goodies I used in today’s project along with a few more new items that are my favorites releasing to the store from previous Stamp of Approval collections! Thanks so much for stopping by today! 🙂
