Florals and Plaid: May Essentials by Ellen Release

It’s time for the Essentials by Ellen May Release!!! 3 stamps sets and 4 die sets designed by my favorite, Julie Ebersole…..

I’ve created a set of cards using the Mondo Sakura stamp set and coordinating die (and another card using the Plaid Maker). Another MONDO stamp set… WOO HOO! I adore the mondo line so very much… To create these cards, I simply colored the florals with Brusho Powders and paired them with the Modern Graphics paper line! The sentiments are from the Totally Random Sayings Volume 2! Bold sentiments? Yes please. Here’s a close up of each card.

This card I inset into the negative space so it’s flat!

Next up is the Plaid Maker background. There are many ways to use this set, EASIER WAYS, but I didn’t use it in the way it was intended. I used the larger stamp to create smaller squares.

To tone down the background a wee bit, I added a piece of vellum over the top! And I heat embossed the sentiment in two colors of Brutus Monroe Embossing powder.
