First day of school!

Today, I decided I needed to get started on my teacher’s gifts! I went to the craft store and picked up my supplies, and got started on the project. This is one of the cards I made. One of the items I have seen on a lot of cards lately (Kelly, Tiffany, etc)… is glossy accents, so I picked that up today, and I love it. I put it on my apple, and just love how it shines. Originally, the first thing I thought about doing was adding glitter to the apple. WHY OH WHY do I even bother with glitter?!? It is messy, it never turns out right, and all I ever end up doing is throwing stuff away and for the next few days, I find little specks of glitter everywhere…. Glossy accents? NO MESS and I love the shine!!!

I ordered the latest PTI Teacher’s Sets designed by Nicki Estes and I adore them. She didn’t leave a single thing off of those sets! Can’t wait to play with the other images and background builders. I wanted some dimension so I adhered everything with pop dots.

Thanks to the What If Sketch challenge this week. I have seen Ayana and some others participate and I never have before.  Thanks for stopping by! And leave me a comment! Those just make my day!!!!
