Happy Fawny Holiday week! Today I am brining you my last post in celebration of the week! Be sure to head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog where you will see my project along with several others and giveaways! Today’s card is my favorite of the bunch! It’s colorful and incorporates gingerbread men and candy! PERFECTO! LOL!!! (All supplies used are at the end of my post)…
So with this amazingly delicious stamp set, you also can purchasing the matching dies which I found incredibly helpful for this particular set. I don’t get matching dies for all of my stamps, but this one was a must in my opinion! I stamped all of the images out on some Neenah Solar white cardstock and did some coloring in front of the tube! I think I was watching West Wing episodes while coloring, lol!!! Then I ran them thru my die cutting machine!
Christmas gift idea #1: I use the Vagabond. I got it for Christmas last year and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The push of a button and it does it’s thing! It’s a great Christmas gift if you are looking for something to add to your wish list! The best deals I have found are from: Ellen Hutson, Blue Moon Scrapbooking, Simon Says Stamp or Amazon! And keep an eye out because there are lots of sales this time of year! And if you are Amazon Prime, you get free shipping! I totally bought this for myself, had it shipped to my husband’s attention so he could wrap it and put it under the tree! Yup, I sure did and proud of it! LOL!!!!!
Christmas gift idea #2: Ok, sorry. Back to the card. Some images I mounted flat to the card base, and some I popped up with some Scotch double sided tape! The best deal I have found for this HUGE roll is from Amazon. Before adhering the scene down, I die cut some of the stitched hill border dies from Lawn Fawn and inked them up directly with the distress ink pad! And that stitched rectangle? It’s fabulous isn’t it! Also a die from Lawn Fawn.
So that’s about it! This is definitely my favorite of the three cards I posted this week! It’s fun and bright and it makes me hungry! 🙂 Be sure to head on over to the LF blog! Lots and lots of other designers have been sharing their projects throughout the week! Get your PIN IT button ready because you are going to want to PIN a lot of these cards! I know I have been! 🙂
Have an awesome day!
