Quick post because this is my second of the day. I wanted to participate in the Etsy Inspired Challenge and the ICOPIC challenge (even though I clearly have no skill in the copic coloring department). I was inspired by this photo. Isn’t that butterfly hair clip gorgeous? I masked the butterfly and used my favorite Hero Arts Cling Stamp, Friends Definision, using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I am going to practice up on coloring butterflies so this pic may be replaced with a brand new card featuring say stamps and layout – just better coloring.. Thanks for stopping by.
Stamps: Martha Stewart Butterflies, Hero Arts Friends Definition Cling stamp; PTI Dark Chocolate ink; Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Tea Dye; Copics
Super pretty, Laurel! I love that big beautiful butterfly done in these rich colors! Love seeing your face when I pop over to your blog (I have you in my reader, but I don’t get around to commenting everyday) Thanks for playing along with the EtsyInspired challenge this week, it means so much to me!
I think you did a beautiful job coloring in the butterfly and I really like the mix of a text background and the butterfly stamp! It’s a beautiful card! Thanks for playing EIC this week!
