Etsy Inspired Owl

While this isn’t some of my best work, I wanted to go ahead and post it anyway because I just love this little owl from Studio K ($1 section from Michaels)… This mini card inspired by this Etsy Inspired challenge photo:

I started by distressing the card with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. What I couldn’t capture in my photograph well is that I stamped large polka dots using Practicing Creativity For the Love of Dots and versamark. It’s there in person, pinkie swear! LOL. I stamped the cute little owl and added the sentiment using Lawnfawn’s Harold’s ABC’s stamp set. I finished it off by tying some of this fabulous crinkle ribbon I purchased from this Etsy seller, Prairie Bird Boutique, along the top of the card since the inspiration photo had a string of silver ball chains. Paulina used this ribbon in one of her cards and the very next click on my computer was to this seller’s etsy shop!

Like I said before, this isn’t my best work so I guess that means I’ll have to make another project for this challenge. Shucks! LOL! Have a great day….
