Let’s get on with the two projects  I made today!!!!

I have to say, I am in love with this card. It just makes me smile. The balloons and the awesome custom sentiment (more on that in a second)… I first applied a wash of watercolor to the background using the Gansai watercolors! As that was drying, I stamped the balloon images from the Up the Happy stamp set with White Ink and heat set it with White embossing powder! I watercolored the balloons with the same colors as I used in the background but watercolored it with less water and more color to create more intensity.

To create the sentiment, I adhered the “Awesome” word from the Positive Words die set to my card panel and then I selectively inked a sentiment from the Up the Happy stamp set and stamp it to create my own custom sentiment! I finished off the card by adhering some stars from the Home and Hearth die set randomly! Oh! I added lots and lots of Wink of Stella Glitter over those balloons!

This brings me to my second card! It features the butterflies from the Up the Happy stamp set.

The background was created with some Faber Castell Gelatos and a fun stencil (exact supplies and colors linked below). I then stamped the butterflies over the top with some Onyx Black dye ink and flicked on some black textured spray! Last but not least, I adhered the die cut word “magic” from the Positive Words die set and adhered that with some Multi Matte adhesive (love that stuff because it is super strong and dies completely clear which is a must for me since I am so messy, lol).

I had wanted to make videos of both these cards but I have been under the weather for quite some time and just wasn’t able to pull it together!   BOO HOO! 🙁  I hope you have an amazing day today! And PLEASE!  Be sure to hop on over to Heather’s blog next and she see what she has in store for you using loads of products from this release!!!
