Hello! I wanted to quickly share a card I made for the Lawnscaping Challenge (create your own patterned paper with stamps),the Wee Memories Challenge, (use twine) and the Color Throwdown Challenge (blue, yellow and green)! All images are from Lawn Fawn. I started by stamping the umbrella and masking in onto the card. Then I heat embossed the rain drops and stamped them directly onto the cardstock to create the background.
The umbrella and cats are popped up using pop dots.
The cats were colored with Copics. I create the umbrella handle and grass from The Twinery’s awesome twine! I stamped the sentiment in two different inks and layered one on top of the other.
I like the look it gives off. I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!!!!!!
Supplies: Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Plus One, Partly Cloudy, Critters in the Burbs, Critters in the Forest) Ink: Memento Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Twine from The Twinery, Copics, Glossy Accents
How sweet! I love the raindrops. 🙂
Awwww!! This is so cute!
This is so cute and clever! I really love that embossed raindrop background! So cool.
Yep, way cute. Way way way too cute.
LOVE how you did that grass—so fun! So creative;)
Very cute card, Laurel! For some reason, the link that you left at Color Throwdown doesn’t work though. I had to look for the card. Thanks for playing with us this week!
Great use of the twine! Never would have thought to make grass with it. Super CUTE card! 😉
